Oriental Power is looking for an experienced and technically sound
Generator Service Engineer
to lead our generator servicing and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in engine overhauling, generator servicing, team leadership, and installation activities. The role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert in diesel engine overhauling (Komatsu, Volvo, Innio, Isuzu, Perkins, Cummins, etc.)
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance of generators.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot generator and engine issues.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
  • Connect control wiring, ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), and synchronization panels as required.
  • Prepare ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch).
  • Basic knowledge of PLC-based control systems is an advantage.
  • Lead and manage the service team effectively.
  • Plan and supervise generator installation and commissioning.
  • Handle replacement of old or faulty generator units.
  • Maintain service logs, reports, and warranty documentation.
  • Provide technical support and after-sales service to clients.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with sales and procurement for technical support and coordination
