1. Job Summary

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated SOC Trainer to spearhead the development and execution of advanced technical training programs for our Security Operations Center personnel. This critical role involves bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on incident response capabilities, thereby ensuring our analyst teams are optimally prepared to navigate and mitigate the dynamic threat landscapes.

1. Key Responsibilities

2. Curriculum Management: Design, develop, and continuously update robust training modules tailored for SOC L1, L2, and L3 analysts, incorporating expertise in leading SIEM technologies (Splunk/QRadar), EDR/XDR platforms, and SOAR automation principles.

3. Cyber Range Operations: Build, manage, and sustain immersive "Cyber Range" environments to facilitate realistic threat simulations, including advanced malware analysis and live incident response drills.
4. Performance Mentorship: Conduct structured skill assessments and provide targeted 1-on-1 coaching to enhance critical metrics such as Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR).
5. Threat Intelligence Integration: Proactively incorporate the latest 2025 threat intelligence and the MITRE ATT&CK framework into actionable training scenarios.

6. Compliance & Standards Adherence: Ensure all training materials and operational procedures align with rigorous industry standards, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.

7. Required Qualifications

8. Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

9. Technical Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, including at least two (2) years in a dedicated leadership or training capacity.
10. Certifications: Possession of at least one of the following certifications is strongly preferred: EC-Council Certified SOC Analyst (C|SA), Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate, CompTIA CySA+, or equivalent professional credentials.

11. Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery of industry-standard security tools, including SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS solutions, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python/Bash for automation purposes.
