Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Dhaka for an Environment and Social Safeguard Expert. The primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards within organizational projects. The role involves conducting assessments, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to improve environmental and social safeguards. The expert will also conduct training sessions on occupational health and safety, implement policies to enhance environmental awareness, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to local and international standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Environmental Awareness, and Occupational Health practices
  • Proficiency in Health & Safety and ability to design and deliver Training programs
  • Excellent understanding of environmental policies, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience in project management related to environmental and social safeguards
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
  • Prior experience working with NGOs or international organizations is an advantage
