Deputy Manager

We are looking for an experienced
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) professional
to lead and coordinate SHE programs across our manufacturing sites Based out of
Shirirchala, Gazipur
, this role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards, driving performance improvement, and fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support or lead the deployment of the SHE strategy, policies, and standards across all factory sites.
• Champion the development of a lean, safe, and sustainable culture within factory operations.
• Oversee or guide the collection, consolidation, and analysis of SHE data from all locations for performance tracking and reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate SHE requirements.
• Drive risk assessments and ensure robust implementation of tools such as HIRA, JSA, work permit systems, chemical and electrical safety practices.
• Conduct or oversee safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and gap assessments; ensure effective closure of corrective actions.
• Engage with plant teams to standardize SHE practices and improve capability through training, coaching, and best practice sharing.
• Act as a key liaison with external regulatory bodies and represent the company during SHE audits and inspections.
• Provide input into capital projects and operational changes from a SHE perspective.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in SHE within manufacturing, with proven leadership exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Sc.) from a reputed national or international institute.
• Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) preferred.
