Senior Student Counsellor, Australia

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Australia Education Counsellor to join our growing team at STS Global Education. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Canada & Australia education counseling, with a strong understanding of the application process, university options, and visa requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a client-focused approach, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals abroad.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling & Advisory: Provide personalized guidance to students and their families on Australia education options, including course selection, university applications, and visa procedures.
• Application Management: Assist students with end-to-end application processing, including document preparation, university correspondence, and follow-ups.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and support throughout their journey.
• Information & Resource Management: Stay updated on Australia university offerings, admission criteria, scholarships, and immigration policies to provide accurate and current information.
• Outreach & Engagement: Participate in seminars, education fairs, school visits, and online events to promote STS Global Education's services and reach potential students.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Coordinate with internal teams and partner institutions, and maintain accurate records of student progress and application status.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Australia education counseling, with a solid understanding of Australia universities, academic programs, and student visa processes.
• Familiarity with the Bangladeshi education landscape and student preferences for international study.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Bengali, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international education agencies or institutions.
• Knowledge of other study destinations (e.g., UK, USA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems or student management tools.
