Job Description / Responsibility

SBAC Bank PLC
is looking for experienced professionals in the
Chief Financial Officer
position.

Employment Status:
Permanent (SVP/EVP/SEVP)

Key Responsibilities:

  • To establish robust system, process & platform for finance function completely integrated with the overall operation to the Bank.
  • To establish a Finance division adequately manned with all the required arrangements.
  • To train, council, coach the staff of the team.
  • Analyses financials of the Bank to give required guidance or optimization of profitability.
  • Analyses and develop annual profit plans, business plans and strategic plans.
  • Prepares Project Accounting, Business &Financial modelling of new ventures.
  • Acts as decision makers that result in corporate-wide impact.
  • Increase profitability by implementing costs minimization and appropriate pricing tools.
  • Reinforcement of balance sheet by optimizing the capital base in line with Basel II & IIII requirements.
  • Focus on knowledge management, Performance Management systems and Business Intelligence tools to enhance business performance and shareholder value.
  • Supervises and handled all legal regulatory and corporate issues related to finance, accounts & taxes.
  • Formulates both short- and long-term financial strategy, business plan, appreciating the micro and macroeconomic dynamic of the economy.
  • Provides solution on critical issues related to financial matters of the Bank.

Educational Requirements

  • Professional degree i.e. CA/ CMA/ CFA or similar professional degree or MBA/ MBM or Masters in Economics/ Finance/ Accounting/ Banking from any UGC approved University.
  • No third division/class in any academic result.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 10 year(s)

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as CFO
    or equivalent in any Bank.
  • Minimum 10 years' of experience in Bank or Financial institute; of which minimum 3 years in accounting and Tax related work of any Bank.

Additional Requirements:

  • Qualification and eligibility standards of CFO mentioned in Guideline of Bangladesh Bank will be meticulously followed.
  • Professional membership of FCA/ FCMA preferred.
  • Applicant having break of service need not apply.
