Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for a VPS Server Expert. The role involves diagnosing and fixing server timeouts affecting the main domain of the site , hosted on Hostinger KVM4 VPS (4 vCPU, 16GB RAM, 200GB NVMe). The expert will troubleshoot intermittent downtime issues that result in ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT errors, ensuring the site loads consistently for visitors while maintaining access to the admin panel. Day-to-day tasks will include server monitoring, performance optimization, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Experience with VPS servers, particularly Hostinger KVM4 VPS (4 vCPU, 16GB RAM, 200GB NVMe)
  • Strong understanding of server infrastructure, networking, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT errors
  • Skills in server monitoring and troubleshooting intermittent downtime issues
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with managing web servers, databases, and related components
  • Relevant certifications in networking or server management are a plus
  • Fluency in written and verbal communication skills
