The
Resilience, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood Improvement (RELI)
project, implemented by BRAC Skills Development Programme with funding from the Social Development Foundation (SDF), will be carried out from
16 July 2025 to 15 June 2026
. The primary objective of this project is to ensure local employment opportunities for the children and youth of registered beneficiaries/members of the Social Development Foundation by enhancing their technical skills through the apprenticeship training model. In addition to six months of technical training, life-oriented soft skills will also be provided. This will enable participants to adapt to the labor market after training and job placement, paving the way for sustainable income generation. A total of
1,500 youth
from SDF's working areas across
20 districts
will be engaged under this project. It will be implemented through
5 District Managers
and
25 Programme Organizers
.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead the Resilience, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood Improvement project funded by the Social Development Fund. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in providing overall implementation, oversight, and strategic direction, ensuring full alignment with the approved proposal, budget, and donor compliance requirements. This position entails managing day-to-day operations, guiding strategic planning, supervising multi-layered field activities, and fostering staff capacity development, while ensuring timely reporting and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall implementation and strategic direction of the project, ensuring alignment with BRAC's mission, donor requirements, and ground realities.
- Manage day-to-day operations across all project locations by supervising field teams, coordinating support functions, and resolving implementation challenges.
- Ensure financial accountability and donor compliance by monitoring budget utilization, overseeing procurement, and enforcing internal control measures.
- Drive evidence-based decision-making by establishing a robust MEL framework and integrating data insights into project planning and improvement.
- Build and strengthen team capacity by recruiting skilled staff, providing coaching, and facilitating continuous professional development.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders by engaging donors, government bodies, private sector partners, and communities through coordination and advocacy.
- Deliver timely and high-quality reporting and documentation by consolidating inputs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with audit and data protocols.
- Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing by capturing best practices, generating insights, and disseminating findings internally and externally.
- Ensure inclusive, resilient, and sustainable project outcomes by integrating gender equity, community ownership, and risk mitigation strategies throughout implementation.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the skills development, youth employment, or informal economy sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise multi-layered field teams and manage operations across diverse locations.
- Hands-on experience in managing donor-funded projects, including budget oversight, compliance, and reporting.
- Prior experience in coordinating with government agencies, employers, and development partners.
- Experience in staff development, monitoring and evaluation, and ensuring programme quality standards.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Educational Requirements:
Graduation in Development Studies, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a national or international NGO with relevant experience.
