Job Description / Responsibility

Assistant Teacher – English

Junior Section(Grade 1-5)

Report to: Coordinator & Vice Principal

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching English reading, phonics, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom activities.
  • Engage students in creative storytelling, rhymes, recitation, and handwriting practice.
  • Conduct reading practice, spelling activities, and spoken English sessions.
  • Create a student-centered and interactive classroom environment.
  • Help assess student performance and maintain progress records.
  • Provide support for weak learners in reading and writing.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
  • Master of Arts (MA) in English
  • Minimum Bachelor's and Master's degree in English.
  • Skills Required: Fluent in English Speaking, FLUENCY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE, Good English communication skills (verbal and Written)

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 3 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in primary-level English teaching in English medium.
  • Good command of English speaking and writing.
  • Experience in phonics-based early-grade teaching preferred.
  • Ability to engage young learners through activities and games.
  • Excellent communication skills.
