Job Summary:
We seek a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will create, maintain and protect Palmpay's reputation, enhances its prestige and present a favorable image; Implement the full spectrum of Public Relations tactics including pitching to news media, coordinating news conferences, arranging editorial boards, coordinating special events, preparing collateral materials, and managing internal communications across multiple businesses and partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic PR plans aligned with business goals, product launches, funding rounds, and major milestones such as M&As and IPOs.
- Build and maintain the company's public image as a secure, innovative, and trustworthy fintech brand.
- Craft high-quality press materials, including press releases, content, articles, blog posts, and newsletters.
- Support the planning and execution of media events, including product launches, press conferences, investor briefings, webinars, and community initiatives.
- Monitor sentiment and public perception across digital media platforms, forums, blogs, and social media channels.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure all public communications adhere to regulatory standards.
- Maintain a strong and relevant network of media contacts across print, digital, broadcast, and trade/consumer platforms.
- Conduct media and market research, particularly in the financial and fintech sectors, to guide communication strategies.
- Stay informed on industry trends and evolving best practices in public relations and apply insights to campaigns.
- Provide proactive and reactive communication support during PR crises, offering clear, strategic solutions.
- Facilitate the resolution of public or third-party disputes to protect and reinforce brand reputation.
- Continuously identify and evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising that align with PR objectives.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Public Relations & Administration, Media & Communication, Journalism, Marketing or other related fields from a renowned university.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in public relations/communication management in a financial institution/ fintech, or any other relevant industry.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Experience in project management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives
- Experience in copywriting and editing
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
- Proficiency in English
