Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Student Counselor based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Student Counselor will guide students through the application process for studying abroad, providing advice on university and program selection, scholarship opportunities, and visa processes. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with prospective students, assessing their eligibility, and offering personalized guidance to meet their needs. Additionally, the counselor will collaborate with global educational institutions and ensure a smooth admission process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in counseling, active listening, and interpersonal communication skills to connect effectively with students and parents.
- Knowledge of university selection, visa application processes, and scholarship research.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple student cases efficiently.
- Proficiency in research, problem-solving, and relationship management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written), with additional language skills being an advantage.
- Familiarity with international education trends and processes is beneficial.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is required; relevant experience in education consultancy is a plus.
