SEO Intern

Job Description / Responsibility

As an SEO Intern at BitChip Digital, you will learn and work on real SEO projects. You'll assist our SEO team in keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO audits, and link-building support. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on learning and a clear growth path in digital marketing.

Responsibilities

You will support the SEO team with:

Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Find keywords (low competition + high intent)
  • Analyze competitor SEO strategies
  • Build keyword lists & content plans

On-Page SEO

  • Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings (H1-H3)
  • Improve internal linking & structure
  • Basic content optimization for SEO

Technical SEO Support

  • Assist in checking indexability issues
  • Identify broken links, redirections, duplicate pages
  • Support page speed and Core Web Vitals audits

Content Optimization

  • Optimize blogs for SEO (readability + keyword placement)
  • Add FAQs & structured content formatting
  • Support SEO content briefs for writers

Link Building Assistance

  • Find outreach opportunities for backlinks
  • Help with guest post/relevant website research
  • Keep track of link-building activities in Google Sheets

Reporting

  • Update weekly SEO progress reports
  • Maintain client/project tracking sheets

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Skills Required: Blogging, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), SEO and Digital Marketing, Local SEO, Google analytics, google search console

Experience Requirements

  • At least 1 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Software Company
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

  • We're looking for someone who has:
  • Basic understanding of SEO (on-page, off-page, technical)
  • Strong interest in digital marketing and learning
  • Good English reading and writing skills
  • Comfortable with Google Docs & Google Sheets
  • Ability to follow SOPs and meet deadlines
