Incharge Branch Operations

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to manage overall operations of respective sales depot, as well as planning, coordinating and managing the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. Moreover, monitoring and implementing company polices and ensuring company's values are in practice is another crucial aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure inventory levels are managed within prescribed norm set by the company to optimize working capital and achieve desired customer service level.
• To ensure safe and efficient receiving, storage, handling and dispatch of goods. Receive CB machines from Factories and make arrangement for delivery to dealers' premises.
• To lead the depot distribution team and manage relevant resources to ensure invoiced products reaching at customers'/dealers' point with sufficient speed/agility and in good condition on time.
• To maintain standards of health and safety, security in the work environment aligned with In Charge Depot Operation.
• To maintain physical inventory accuracy in line with SAP stock.
• To maintain per kg distribution cost within the set target and drive actions to optimize it further on continuous basis for respective locations.
• To propose annual operational expense budget and monitor and control actual costs incurred are in line with approved target.
• To motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
• To develop the team in terms of structured warehouse and distribution operational knowledge to upkeep the company's standard in all transactions and interactions with customers.
• To align the team with the companies' vision and values and make them aware to comply and implement the latest policies and SOPs.
• To coach and mentor, engage and motivate the workforce for sustainable performance and productivity.
• To confirm acknowledgement for undelivered product is obtained from dealers in each month and preserve the same in month wise filing system.
• To approve all bills/reimbursement claims and ensure faster disbursement through finance department while complying with applicable company policies.
• To maintain standards of health, safety and security in the work environment.
• To monitor attendance, leaves, OT of employees, and send updated reports to relevant bodies.
• To hire and manage daily casuals as per requirements.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a logistics and distribution operation position within warehouse and inventory management
• Bachelor's Degree from a well reputed university.
• Professional degree or post graduate degree in a relevant field will act as an added advantage.
