Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Business Analyst (BA) to join our Tech team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, capturing requirements, translating customer pain points into actionable solutions, and supporting product delivery in travel tech domain. Candidates with strong ownership, self-organization, and a forward-looking approach to team collaboration and process improvement will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, capture, and document product or solution requirements.
  • Translate business needs, user pain points, and opportunities into functional requirements.
  • Create user stories, use cases, acceptance criterias, flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
  • Refine elicitation results into clear, actionable specifications (SRS, BRD, BRS).
  • Work closely with Product and Project Managers to refine scope, priorities, and delivery plans.
  • Maintain strong communication with business and technical teams.
  • Present findings and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Understand the reasons for change and assess its impact on processes, systems, and stakeholders.
  • Identify necessary conditions to meet business needs and evaluate potential risks or undesirable consequences of transitions.
  • Create and manage Jira tickets and maintain a prioritized backlog.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate deliverables.
  • Ensure business needs are met with high-quality outcomes.
  • Suggest improvements to requirement and delivery processes.
  • Assist with project planning, coordination, and progress tracking.
  • Gain hands-on experience in monitoring timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support communication with stakeholders on project status and delivery updates.
  • Take on coordination tasks to gradually build project delivery experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or product environment, preferably in travel tech domain.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; able to convey ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex business problems into actionable solutions.
  • Proactive, independent, and results-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Skilled at preparing documentation, diagrams, and visual artifacts for clarity.
  • Proficient in Jira or similar tools; familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Comfortable working with both formal (SRS, BRS, BRD) and Agile-friendly lightweight documentation formats.
  • Proficient with Jira or similar tools for backlog and ticket management; familiar with Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
