Content Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Write content that promotes our products and services
  • Writing and reviewing content for websites, social media pages and public communications
  • Stay current on marketing and general industry trends to augment content development
  • Identify social needs and recommend new topics
  • Conduct in-depth research and convey findings with accuracy
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
  • Optimize Search Engine Optimization driven content and increase the site traffic
  • Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in blog posts
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Create various content types (videos, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides
  • Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics
  • Incorporate blog and social media posts in both websites and social media platforms like Facebook or LinkedIn

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, English, journalism, literature, marketing or other related fields

  • 5 to 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

  • Impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills
  • Creative and strategic-thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience as a content writer or copywriter
  • Experience as a content creator in prior roles creating strong and engaging content
  • Prior job experience in web traffic metrics, HTML and web publishing
  • Proficiency in web-based research and SEO best practices
  • Robust written, verbal and presentation skills·
  • Experience with email marketing software·
  • Minimum 5-8 years working in a corporate setting, like B2B financial services, especially asset management (investments, banking, insurance) online/offline Digital Media·
  • On hand experience of social networking tools & manage profile Platform like: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Work with specialist content partners for development of rich media content·
  • Collaborate with a range of stakeholders across product management, corporate brand, PR, and marketing teams to ensure content meets requirements and guidelines
  • Knowledge about Blog &/or Podcast create, editing & voice over experience
