Role Overview

You convert strategy and requirements (user feedback, telemetry, research, stakeholders

feedbacks) into scoped plans and shipped improvements. You'll orchestrate ML team

delivery, enforce quality gates, and keep releases predictable partnering closely with ML

engineering, data engineering, backend/platform, and product.

What You'll Do

Ownership & Delivery

● Own the ML roadmap and backlog; keep priorities clear, dependencies mapped, and

scope controlled.

● Run the delivery cadence end-to-end (planning, standups, reviews, releases), hold

teams accountable to milestones/SLOs.

● Turn insights (customers, analytics, experiments) into requirements, PRDs, and

release plans that ship on time.

Technical Program Leadership

● Drive programs across the full ML lifecycle: data collection data processing→ →

training evaluation deployment monitoring→ → → . And that includes also the

backend and cloud infrastructures.

● Define quality gates (offline metrics, A/B plans, rollback paths), and align releases to

SLAs/SLOs and business KPIs.

● Ensure observability and operations: drift/accuracy monitoring, latency/throughput

dashboards, incident response, postmortems, and corrective actions.

Cross-Team Coordination

● Align ML/DS, MLOps/platform, backend, data engineering, product, tasks timeline

management, handling project management tools, and success metrics.

● Manage RAIDs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and unblock execution;

facilitate design/architecture reviews and decision records.

● Maintain Proper documentation in each segment.

Governance & Tooling

● Uphold data privacy/PII handling, model risk, and compliance processes.

● Standardize workflows using Jira/Linear/ClickUp, Notion/Confluence, GitHub/GitLab,

experiment tracking (MLflow/W&B), CI/CD for ML, and model registries.

Minimum Qualifications

● 7+ years in Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management

delivering production ML/data programs.

● Proven ownership of roadmaps, backlogs, and multi-team delivery with measurable

outcomes.

● Working fluently with MLOps and backend concepts (APIs/microservices, CI/CD,

Docker/Kubernetes, cloud AWS/GCP/Azure).

● Strong analytical and communication skills: write crisp specs, status, and exec

summaries; read design docs, dashboards, and experiment reports.

Nice to Have

● Experience with tabular ML at scale and exposure to computer vision programs.

● Familiarity with feature stores, A/B testing, data quality tooling (e.g., Great

Expectations), and GPU/capacity planning.

  • ● Prior startup/high-growth experience; PMP/PMI-ACP/CSM helpful but not required.
