Deputy Manager / Manager - Fabric Marketing (Knit Fabric)

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Create focused B2B marketing plans drawing from RMG sector trends, knit fabric buyer specs (like colorfastness and GSM precision), and export goals.
  • Foster lasting ties with major RMG clients via consistent site visits, product demos, and feedback discussions to win repeat orders and fresh opportunities.
  • Analyze RMG buyer preferences, rival knit fabric options, and rising trends such as sustainable dyeing to shape product strategies and sales efforts.
  • Organize involvement in BGMEA/BKMEA fairs and buyer-seller meets to highlight knit fabric strengths and connect with apparel exporters.
  • Partner with production, sales, and R&D units to sync marketing with fabric stock, innovations, and RMG order deadlines.
  • Oversee marketing spend wisely, monitor B2B lead-to-sale rates and client loyalty KPIs, and deliver reports with practical improvements.
  • Collect buyer feedback on knit details (e.g., shrinkage stability, reactive dye performance) to enhance fabric quality and support services.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
  • Bachelor's in Textile Engineering, Business, or equivalent; Master's degree advantageous.
  • Skills Required: Fabric Manufacturing, Textiles, Fabric development, B2B Marketing, Good knowledge in knit fabric manufacturing

Experience Requirements

  • At least 8 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments,Textile,Buying House,Group of Companies,Packaging Industry,Garments Accessories,Spinning

Additional Requirements

  • 8 years in B2B fabric marketing, ideally with knit products in RMG ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of RMG standards (GSM, colorfastness, shrinkage) and shifts toward green dyeing practices.
  • Demonstrated success in client networking and managing BGMEA/BKMEA events.
  • Sharp analytical skills for market studies, budget control, and KPI analysis.
  • Superior communication, presentation abilities, and MS Office/CRM expertise.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and fairs across Dhaka's RMG clusters.
