Position Overview – Fundraising & Grants Management Officer

The Sponsorship Officer will play a vital role in supporting the financial sustainability of Ignite Global Foundation by designing and executing fundraising strategies, managing grants, and cultivating donor relationships. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure accurate and compelling proposals, reports, and campaigns that align with our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sponsorship Strategy & Planning

  • Design and implement effective fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Explore and pursue diverse funding sources, including individuals, corporates, and foundations.

2. Grant Management

  • Research and apply for relevant grants; manage the full grant lifecycle from proposal development to reporting.
  • Ensure all applications, reports, and compliance requirements are submitted on time.

3. Donor Relations

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current donors and partners.
  • Identify, engage, and steward new donors to build long-term support.

4. Internal Coordination

  • Collaborate with program and finance teams for accurate data, budgeting, and reporting in proposals.

5. Fundraising Events

  • Organize and manage fundraising events, ensuring effective coordination with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Grant Administration and Proposal Writing skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in fundraising, non-profit, or related fields is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, or related field
