Requirements

Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives as per the set plan of the organization.

Responsible for creating & performing Merchandising of Garments products.

Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
-
Supervise, coordinate and lead a merchandising team independently and should have vast knowledge on Jacket, Denim, woven & Knit garments also.
-
Garments Cost Analysis, Consumption & Measurement knowledge for pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.

Oversee the update on production status, sampling & required information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyers.

Have to manage ordered inquiry to shipment, Inventory and Supply chain planning.

Work towards the coordination of daily operational activities in supplier sourcing, fabric development, sample development, costing package preparation.

Co-ordinate customers/ suppliers visits and deploys resources accordingly.

To ensure the duties and responsibilities of subordinates as vested on them according to the organizational policy.

To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team.

Work closely with QA Team to ensure inline as well as final inspection of garments and preparation of reports, as required.

Manage and complete all required documentation, filing work and system data entry accurately and efficiently.

Arrange sample dispatch to required recipients eg: Buying, Product Development teams and Suppliers.

Responsible for proper follow up and committed with the time line given by Buyers and obviously meet the time line.

Co-ordinates with production team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer.

To fulfill a shipment shall co-ordinate with other departments.

To take an active role while formulating the policy of the organization.
