Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Designer located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for creating and developing new furniture concepts, working closely with carpenters and other furniture professionals. The role includes designing, prototyping, and presenting furniture designs, as well as collaborating with the production team to ensure designs are manufactured accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Furniture Design, Furniture, and Interior Design skills
  • Carpentry and Product Design skills
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or related field
  • Experience in the furniture industry is a plus
