Company Overview

We are a product-driven engineering team working on mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications. You will join cross-functional teams (mobile dev + web dev) to craft user-centred interfaces and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create wireframes, user flows, storyboards for mobile + web.
  • Build high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
  • Apply typography, layout, colour theory, interaction design and motion/animation principles.
  • Ensure accessibility (contrast, touch targets, keyboard nav, screen-reader support) and inclusive design.
  • Maintain responsive/adaptive layouts for mobile, tablet, desktop.
  • Hand off designs to development teams: deliver assets, annotate behaviour (states, transitions), collaborate to ensure feasibility.
  • Work with mobile dev (Flutter/Android/iOS) and web dev teams: understand platform constraints, performance considerations (especially for low-bandwidth/older devices).
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback, data, usability testing.
  • Contribute to or maintain a design system: reusable UI components, style guide, component library.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 to 12 months of hands-on UI/UX design experience (mobile + web).
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating process (HCI consideration, wireframes → mockups → prototype), layout, typography, animations, accessibility awareness.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (or equivalent).
  • Understanding of human–computer interaction (HCI) fundamentals: user tasks, context, gestures vs clicks, platform conventions.
  • Solid grasp of typography, visual hierarchy, color theory, layout systems, responsive design.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers: good communication, understanding of constraints, hand-off best practices.
  • Experience or willingness to design animations/micro-interactions and ensure performance implications are considered.
