is looking for
Print Technician

Job Description / Responsibility

Artwork & Design Coordination

• Receive print artwork, tech pack, and buyer print details.
• Check color separation, placement, size, and repeat accuracy.
• Coordinate with merchandising for any artwork clarification.

Print Development & Approval

• Prepare strike-off / print sample as per buyer requirement.
• Ensure correct fabric, ink type, mesh, and technique are used.
• Send print samples for buyer approval before bulk.

Printing Process Control

• Supervise printing methods:
• Screen printing
• Discharge
• Pigment
• Rubber / Plastisol
• Water-based
• HD / Puff / Foil / Glitter
• Ensure right machine setting, pressure, squeegee, curing temperature.

Color & Shade Control

• Match print colors with Pantone / buyer reference.
• Control batch-to-batch shade variation.
• Coordinate with lab for ink formulation and color correction.

Quality Control During Printing

• Monitor common print issues:
• Pin holes
• Color bleeding
• Poor adhesion
• Cracking / peeling
• Smudging / misplacement
• Stop production immediately if print quality is off standard.

Wash & Durability Performance

• Ensure prints pass:
• Wash fastness
• Rubbing fastness
• Stretch & recovery (if applicable)
• Coordinate wash test and corrective action if failure occurs.

Bulk Production Follow-up

• Attend PP meeting and confirm approved print details.
• Ensure bulk production follows approved strike-off exactly.
• Conduct in-line and end-line print inspection.

Risk Identification & Escalation

• Identify risks early:
• Wrong ink selection
• Fabric incompatibility
• Color migration
• Over/under curing
• Escalate issues to Merchandising / QC / Production immediately.

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain records:
• Approved strike-offs
• Ink formulation
• Screen details & mesh count
• Curing parameters
• Ensure approved print file is bulk reference.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure inks and chemicals comply with buyer RSL / REACH / CPSIA.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards in print area.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
• Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements

• 4 to 5 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Buying House

Additional Requirements

• Excellent knowledge about sweater, knit & woven items (shirt/jacket/trouser) knowledge about various kind of sweater design, yarn, wash, print, embroidery, accessories, knit fabric, capability of arrange sample from factory as per given information from Abroad team.
• Kids garments experience mandatory for this post.
• Should possess enhanced Marketing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Illustrator and mail communication.
