Job Context:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
DevOps Engineer
to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to streamline our software development lifecycle, automate workflows, and maintain a stable and scalable infrastructure. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software deployment.
  • Support cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, and optimization (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the deployment process.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, availability, and reliability issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Work on automating repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in implementing security best practices and compliance requirements in the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Contribute to system backups, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
  • Document processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in CSE/CST/IT or relevant field.

Experience Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as DevOps Engineer.

Additional Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
  • Some experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • A passion for learning and improving processes with automation.

Preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk, or New Relic).
  • Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
  • Experience with a programming or scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash).
  • Awareness of DevOps methodologies and Agile development practices.
