Purpose of Position:

This role is responsible for supporting the achievement of the Sylhet office sales performance targets. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the entire operations and performance of the StudyNet Sylhet office. This includes managing and mentoring a cross-functional team comprising Counsellors, Customer Relationship Officers (CROs), and support staff. This role is responsible for providing information, advice, support and processing of applications for international students seeking placement in education institutions in Bangladesh by promoting StudyNet's products and services directly to students.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Branch Operations:

Ø Lead, supervise, and manage the day-to-day activities of the Sylhet branch, including counselling, customer service, admin, and support functions.

Ø Set clear goals and KPIs for all team members (counsellors, CROs, support staff) and monitor progress regularly.

Ø Foster a strong performance-based culture rooted in integrity, collaboration, accountability, and student success.

Ø Conduct regular team briefings, one-on-one reviews, and performance evaluations.

Ø Manage schedules and ensure resource planning aligns with seasonal business needs.

Business Development:

Ø Identify new business opportunities in consultation with the Office Manager.

Ø Maintain regular contact and activities with key accounts, such as schools and scholarship bodies.

Customer Service:

Ø Act with the highest level of accountability with students, clients, and colleagues.

Ø Respond to face-to-face, phone, and email inquiries in a timely manner with accurate and relevant information.

Ø Process and submit applications to institutions, obtain offers, and facilitate enrollments in a timely manner.

Ø Build effective relationships with education institution staff to support timely application processing.

Ø Assist students with on-arrival issues or refer them to appropriate agencies where necessary.

Ø Build strong relationships with network counselors to enable ongoing support of students onshore.

Client Relationship:

Ø Attend client briefings, workshops, and visits to institutions to support the development of knowledge and establish relationships with key contacts.

Ø Work with the Office Manager and institution representatives to develop strategies and effectively promote institutions.

Ø Act with integrity and professionalism in all interactions with client representatives.

Teamwork and Office Discipline:

Ø Support the Office Manager/Marketing Team in organizing major events such as interviews, in-house sessions, and exhibitions.

Ø Promote StudyNet through institution visits, seminars, exhibitions, and student associations.

Ø Assist in identifying local market opportunities and threats.

Ø Participate in office meetings to share information, expertise, and maintain office discipline.

Ø Foster teamwork and increase cooperation, efficiency, and effectiveness among StudyNet's students.

Market Research:

Ø Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and changes in immigration and visa regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Written and Spoken Communication skills
  • Detail Oriented and Methodical
  • Strong Leadership, Organizational and Periodization Skills
  • Experience in Office Management and Staff Supervision
  • 5-8 years Experience in Managerial position
  • Customer Service and Relationship Management skills
  • Knowledge of Student Placement and Visa Processing procedures
  • Organizational and Time Management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
