Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Senior Software Engineer (JAVA) located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Sunday-Thursday, 10 AM - 6 PM

Experience:

4+ years of experience in relevant stack

Salary Range:

70,000+ BDT (depending on the skills and experience)

Education:

B.Sc
Degree in CSE from any reputed university

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful APIs.

  • Experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB is a plus).

  • Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with Reactive Programming (Project Reactor, WebFlux).

  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns and their application in software development.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to define and refine project requirements.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development process improvements.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance development processes.

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Certification is a plus.

  • Understanding of Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

  • Exposure to Frontend Technologies like Angular or React (optional but beneficial).
