Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Managing Director, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations, developing and implementing strategic goals, managing financial performance, ensuring business growth, and leading senior management to achieve organizational objectives. Key responsibilities also include fostering partnerships, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the company adheres to regulatory and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Strategic thinking, business planning, and financial management expertise
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and guide an organization toward achieving its objectives
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing business operations and identifying areas for improvement
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant work experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sector
