Designer, Jewelry

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop creative product designs and make samples according to assigned product lines, themes, and brand perception.
• Ensure designs comply with costing guidelines, producer capacity, and production timelines.
• Support sales targets by contributing innovative design solutions.
• Coordinate in annual design planning by creating themes, mood boards, storyboards, and presentations.
• Monitor sales trends to anticipate customer demand and adjust design work accordingly.
• Coordinate with Independent Producer production centers for sample development and quality checks.
• Continuously enhance Independent Producer-related skills and collaborate with Independent Producers to support their skill growth.
• Manage efficient use of trims and accessories stock in the processing store.
• Ensure timely clearance of credits related to trim and accessories usage.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation
• Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so

Qualifications

Education:

• A Bachelor degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Textile Design or Fine Arts from a reputed university

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferable in jewelry designing

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:

• Design or Art related knowledge
• Creative, innovative and conceptualization
• Ability to anticipate change in fashion, fashion forecasting
• Jewelry product knowledge
• Design related computer skills
• Effective communication and presentation
• Sense of style, fashion and technical aspects
• Creative and innovative design and conceptualization
