The incumbent is responsible for HR support, hiring staff, including orientation of new staff and separation of staff as per policy and procedures. Establish specific objectives to ensure that HR standards are met.
This position works closely with Finance, Operations teams and project leads.
Responsibilities:- Analyze the country's HR needs and establish specific objectives to ensure that HR standards are met.
- Ensure management team members are well versed on HR policies and that policies are implemented consistently.
- Review salary and benefits policies to attract and retain highly skilled staff.
- Update local employment policies as per local laws and best practices.
- Provide guidance on compensation related issues.
- Manage innovative compensation programs and conduct job evaluations.
- Organize post-interview debrief/feedback and perform reference checking.
- Evaluate recruitment strategies and coordinate on-boarding.
- Conduct follow-up with new staff to ensure adaptation and address issues.
- Develop a healthy employee relations environment.
- Ensure employee files are complete and maintained in a confidential manner.
- Document staff records in real-time.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years work experience and 3 years managerial experience in Human Resources.
- Masters in Human Resource Management.
- HR focused certification will be preferred.
