Primary Purpose of the Position

The primary purpose of a lab technician is to perform tests, experiments, and analyses in a laboratory

Key Responsibilities

• Collect soil, concrete, aggregate, and water samples from project sites
• Perform standard laboratory to determine material properties.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration for accurate results
• Accurately record test results and maintain detailed logs for project documentation
• Assist in ensuring construction materials meet LGED and project specifications
• Provide on-site testing and support during construction activities when needed.
• Follow all lab safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
• Prepare and submit test reports to engineers and supervisors for review and action
   

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field
