Job Title: Senior Administrative Officer - CMU

About the Role

The Senior Administrative Officer - CMU will provide administrative support to the Country Management Unit (CMU) in Bangladesh, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and programs. This role will involve supervising administrative staff, managing contracts and vendors, and coordinating logistics for high-profile visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor administrative staff to ensure effective and efficient support to the CMU
  • Manage administrative procurement and contract management, ensuring compliance with Bank guidelines and host government regulations
  • Coordinate logistics for high-profile visits, including preparation of logistics briefing materials and travel plans
  • Act as the Head of Protocol/Public Relations Officer, maintaining liaison with government agencies and ensuring smooth and successful visiting missions
  • Lead the Relocation Team to ensure smooth and timely settling-in of Internationally Recruited Staff (IRS) and their families
Requirements
  • Relevant Advanced Degree, preferably MA/MBA in a related field
  • Knowledge of general software applications, e.g. SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English and Bengali
  • 8 years' experience in Administration, Finance, or Operations, with a supervisory capacity acquired in a large international organization or a large national or multinational corporation
