BIM Design Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop BIM drawings adhering to established standards;
  • Maintain project template files for consistent quality;
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in all produced drawings through rigorous quality control measures;
  • Promote compliance with QA/QC procedures, implementing process improvements as needed;
  • Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure requirements are met;
  • Prepare and review project drawings according to manager/lead instructions;
  • Foster effective communication and coordination among disciplines on assigned tasks;
  • Deliver Tender BIM requirements on time;
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless BIM process, documentation, and model deliverables;
  • Attend BIM design coordination meetings to oversee design coordination efforts;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution;
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in BIM; junior engineers require at least 2 years of experience;
  • Ability to develop basic designs, detail designs, shop drawings, and working drawings independently;
  • Proficiency in preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, and working drawings;
  • Experience in preparing drawings using BIM software;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with consultants, contractors, and work within a multidisciplinary team;
