Job Description:

This position involves managing and overseeing the operational design and implementation of a resilience-building program in camps and host communities. The program aims to expand its reach throughout Cox's Bazar district, integrating with government social safety net programs, DDP, and other priorities.

The ideal candidate will develop a mid/long-term resilience strategy, making synergies among existing cash-for-asset activities and initiating innovative approaches into one resilience-building program.

Key responsibilities include providing technical advice on new initiatives, designing and implementing market development and linkage strategies, spearheading innovative approaches, ensuring coherence and integration of resilience-building activities, and leading and managing WFP's engagement with key NGOs and partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of resilience programs including climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, climate adaptation, and market-based interventions.

Deepened technical expertise on food and cash for assets climate adaptation strategies, anticipatory action, and sustainable livelihoods.

Ability to design and implement innovative solutions in resilience programming.

Demonstrated experience in policy engagement, government capacity strengthening, and strategic partnerships.

Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, fostering innovation, and integrating resilience programming across sectors.
