This position reports to

HEAD OF FINANCE - BANGLADESH

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to process accounting transactions for the Accounts Payable team in a complete, accurate, and timely manner. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures, and external regulatory requirements. You will also showcase your expertise by handling complex payment issues and resolving vendor/customer disputes that may arise.

The work model for the role is #LI -Onsite.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Contributes to definition, implementation and improvement of accounting policies relevant to area and level of expertise (as applicable).

• Performs general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to solve unusual issues.

• Provides perspective on accounting matters based on well-established principles and practices and ensures implementation of changes in A&RG in own area of responsibility.
Reporting & Consolidation

• Executes established accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ABB Group policies and local instructions (where applicable).

• Performs quality checks on financial reporting data submitted by the units, including analytical review of major fluctuations.

Qualifications for the role
  • 1. M.Com (Accounting) or MBA major in accounting.
  • 2. 2-4 years' experience in the relevant field.
  • 3. Good English communication skill (Speaking and writing).
  • 4. Advance knowledge in excel.
  • 5. Preference will be given for SAP experience.
