Full-Time Workplace Type: On-Site Job ID: IJOB202676647 Newroz Technologies Ltd. is looking for an experienced, hands-on Software Architect (Go / Java) to lead architectural decisions, drive engineering excellence, and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in either Go or Java, practical proficiency in the other, solid cloud architecture experience, proven engineering leadership, and hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development. We are seeking a technology leader who can make sound architectural decisions, mentor engineering teams, and take full ownership of technical quality, security, and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance backend systems.
• Lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and guide technical and architectural decisions.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate architecture patterns, including Modular Monolith, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Serverless.
• Define service boundaries, integration strategies, data ownership, and deployment approaches.
• Design and manage cloud-native solutions using AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Build reliable systems using concurrency, caching, retries, circuit breakers, and asynchronous messaging.
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows across coding, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure correctness, security, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Backend, DevOps, QA, Product, Security, and Mobile engineering teams. Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
• 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience, including significant backend development and architectural responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in Java or Go (Golang), with practical proficiency in the other.
• Experience with Spring Boot and/or production-grade Go backend development.
• Strong knowledge of system design, distributed systems, REST APIs, and software architecture.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Linux, application security, authentication, authorization, and secure cloud architecture.
• Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, OpenObserve, Grafana, Loki, or Tempo.
• Practical experience with AI coding assistants and development agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Requirements
