We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen security across our AWS cloud environments, on-premise infrastructure, production systems, networks and applications. This is a technical security engineering role focused on identifying vulnerabilities, assessing infrastructure risks, implementing security controls, investigating incidents and working directly with DevOps and Developer teams to drive security improvements. This is not a purely governance, compliance or audit-focused position. We need someone who can independently assess security risks, implement technical solutions and drive remediation through closure.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess and strengthen security across AWS cloud environments and on-premise infrastructure.
• Identify AWS security misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, excessive permissions and architectural risks.
• Design and implement AWS security controls across IAM, Organizations, SCPs, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, S3, EC2, EKS, RDS and other AWS services.
• Implement and manage AWS security services including GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, KMS and IAM Access Analyzer.
• Perform security hardening of Linux and Windows servers, network infrastructure and on-premise systems.
• Conduct infrastructure vulnerability assessments, validate findings and prioritize remediation based on exploitability and business impact.
• Perform security assessments of production infrastructure, APIs, backend services and application environments.
• Identify common application and API vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
• Implement automated security scanning and Support incident containment, investigation, root-cause analysis and security remediation.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to embed security into production environments.
• Maintain vulnerability registers, security standards and remediation tracking.
• Support security requirements related to ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI DSS where applicable. Requirements
