Full-Time Workplace Type: Full-time Job ID: IJOB202669297 Job Context Dory Furniture is looking for an experienced, energetic and result-oriented Production Manager & Asst. Manager to manage and supervise overall furniture production operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, production target achievement, quality control, material utilization, cost reduction and timely delivery of finished products. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, wood and board-based production, machine operation, finishing, assembly and quality control. Job Responsibilities
• Plan and supervise daily, weekly and monthly production activities.
• Prepare production plans and schedules based on sales orders and delivery requirements.
• Ensure timely achievement of daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
• Monitor the complete production process from raw materials to finished products.
• Manage and supervise production supervisors, operators and factory workers.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials and factory resources.
• Monitor production efficiency, wastage, rejection, rework and production downtime.
• Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
• Ensure furniture products are manufactured according to approved drawings, designs, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Design, Sales, Purchase, Store, Accounts and Management teams.
• Ensure proper availability and utilization of raw materials, hardware and other production materials.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for necessary maintenance.
• Implement effective measures to reduce production cost and material wastage.
• Maintain production records, daily production reports and KPI reports.
• Ensure proper workplace discipline, cleanliness and safety within the production area.
• Train, guide and motivate production team members to improve productivity.
• Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices where applicable.
• Ensure proper finishing, assembly and packaging standards before products are handed over for delivery.
• Report production status, problems, delays and corrective actions to Management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management. Requirements
