Senior Adviser – Digital Trade Data for Bangladesh's Export Sector Bengal Mobile QA Solution (BMQAS), Dhaka Start: expected November 2026 to January 2027 About Bengal Mobile QA Solution Bengal Mobile QA Solution (BMQAS) is a full-service technology development and IT services firm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since 2002, we have built solution components for world-class products for global companies such as Cisco and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and delivered enterprise-class solutions for clients including BRAC, GrameenPhone, Robi, and Dhaka City Corporation. We are now expanding our portfolio with multiple SaaS products, web platforms, and mobile applications across cybersecurity, digital safety, and enterprise verticals. Engagement: this is a paid, part-time advisory role on a project BMQAS is currently bidding on, and is contingent on that contract being awarded. Job Context BMQAS is bidding to deliver a 12-month national-level project with government trade institutions and the textile export industry. The project will set up and test a shared, vendor-neutral system that lets factories, suppliers and government exchange trusted product and compliance data, starting with EU Digital Product Passport requirements. The technical work is well in hand. Success will depend on bringing government officials, industry associations and factory owners together and helping them reach agreement. We are looking for one senior person to advise and open doors.

Key Responsibilities
• Advising the team on government processes and stakeholder dynamics.
• Opening doors and joining key meetings with ministries, agencies and associations.
• Co-facilitating steering sessions and workshops.
• Supporting conversations with factory owners during onboarding.
• Reviewing policy recommendations before they go to government. Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of senior experience in one of these:
• a career government official in trade, commerce or export promotion (for example a former director, director general, or joint or additional secretary); or
• a senior figure in the garment and textile industry (for example a former association secretariat leader, or a head of compliance or sustainability at a large export group).
• Respected by both senior officials and factory owners, with a track record of building consensus.
• A career professional, seen as politically neutral and even-handed between BGMEA and BKMEA.
• No current or recent role connected to the programme or its procurement.
• Fluent in English and Bangla; based in Dhaka. Terms
• Senior Adviser to BMQAS, about 30–50 days over 12–14 months, starting around November 2026 to January 2027.
• Paid advisory engagement, with fees agreed directly with BMQAS.
• Contingent on contract award.
