Job Description
Pakiza Group is looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Sr. Manager – Compliance to lead compliance operations, ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements, maintain buyer standards, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety, ethical practices, and sustainability across the organization. Roles And Responsibilities
• Ensure total compliance with the Bangladesh Labour Law (latest amendments), Bangladesh Labour Rules, and Fire Safety & Building Codes.
• Lead and prepare the organization for all external, buyer, and third-party social audits (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, OEKO-TEX, HIGG Index, RSC/NTA).
• Develop, update, and implement comprehensive HR, compliance, safety, and environmental policies across all operational units.
• Oversee workplace health and safety programs, emergency preparedness, regular fire drills, and environmental waste management protocols.
• Maintain a transparent workplace grievance handling mechanism, managing disciplinary proceedings, show-cause notices, and investigation committees in accordance with legal requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison with government bodies (DIFE, Fire Service & Civil Defence, DoE, BEZA) and trade organizations.
• Manage Corrective Action Plans (CAP) following any audit findings, ensuring timely closure and root-cause remedies.
• Lead the compliance team, conduct regular employee training on safety, rights, and compliance awareness, and foster an ethical work environment. Academic Qualifications
