Role Description The CCTV Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, responsible for monitoring security cameras across Miniso Bangladesh stores and facilities. The role includes observing live and recorded footage to detect unusual activities, potential theft, safety hazards, and policy violations, and promptly reporting findings to the relevant security or store management team. The operator will maintain CCTV systems, ensure proper recording and storage of footage, and assist in retrieving video evidence when required. Daily tasks also include keeping detailed logs, following established security protocols, coordinating with store staff during incidents, and supporting overall loss prevention and customer safety initiatives. Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness; ability to observe multiple camera feeds and identify irregular activities quickly.
• Basic technical knowledge of CCTV systems, including camera operation, recording devices, and video retrieval; willingness to learn new equipment and software.
• Good communication skills for clear reporting of incidents to security and management; ability to write concise incident reports.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive information and video footage.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka for full-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by retail operations.
• Prior experience in security, surveillance, or retail loss prevention is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Minimum secondary school completion; further training or certifications in security or safety will be considered an asset.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with using surveillance software, email, and standard office applications.
