Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Systems Design Engineer, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Solar Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and optimizing solar energy system designs, conducting detailed site assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative energy solutions. The responsibilities also include analyzing and calculating energy generation, performing feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Systems Design, System Architecture, and Systems Engineering for solar and energy systems, atleast for 2 years.
  • Competence in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles to support system development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools for design, simulation, and analysis of solar energy systems.
  • Ability to analyze site data, conduct feasibility studies, and develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required; advanced education is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local and international safety and quality standards in the solar energy field is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Prior experience in solar system design and implementation is highly desirable.
