Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an R&D Pharmacist located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The R&D Pharmacist will be responsible for conducting pharmaceutical research, developing nicotine products, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Daily tasks include formulating and testing new products, maintaining detailed documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and development. Additionally, the R&D Pharmacist will oversee quality control processes to ensure product safety and efficacy.

Knowledge of:

  • GMP, GLP, ICH guidelines, and ISO certifications

  • Pharmaceutical-grade chemical handling

  • Safety protocols for hazardous substances (like nicotine)

  • Regulatory affairs, knowledge — especially for export or FDA standards

Qualifications

  • Pharmaceutical research, formulation, and product development skills
  • Experience in quality control and regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical products
  • Proficiency in documentation and data analysis related to pharmaceutical processes
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
  • Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Experience in nicotine product development and an understanding of global regulatory standards is a plus

  • Soft Skills & Abilities:

  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Working cross-functionally with R&D, QA/QC, production, and compliance teams

  • Ability to assist in "regulatory audits", inspections, and dossier preparation.
