Position: Head of Utility (Electrical & Mechanical)

Job Responsibilities-

Manage all RSC compliance-related activities within the factory.

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment across knitting, dyeing, finishing, washing, and garment sections.

Operate and maintain WTP (Water Treatment Plant) and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant).

Monitor and reduce energy usage (gas, electricity, water).

Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure minimum downtime.

Develop and implement SOPs, maintenance logs, and staff training.

Oversee spare parts inventory and tool management.

Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve machine efficiency.

Key Machinery You Will Be Responsible For

The role includes operation and maintenance of a wide range of industrial equipment across multiple departments, including but not limited to:

Knitting & Finishing Section-

Flat Knitting Machines (Hong Qi Ma, Flying Tiger – various GG models)

Jacquard Machines (Shima Seiki SSR-112, Hong Qi Ma)

Socks Machines, Needle Bed Cleaners, Auto Placket Machines

Washing & Dryer Section-

Washing Machines (Qiangye, Electro Lux)

Hydro Extractors (Qiangye, Golden Star)

Dryer Machines (Golden Star, Flying Tiger, Accu Dry3)

Garment Production-

Computerized Embroidery & Sewing Machines (Tajima, Juki)

Auto Collar Machines, Re-coning Machines

Bar-Tacking, Flat-Lock, Over-Lock Machines

Testing & Lab Equipment-

GSM Cutters, PH Meters, Pilling Testers

Lux Meters, Pull Testers, Hue & Color Meters

Note: The complete facility houses over 60 equipment categories and 1,300+ machines. Candidates with experience managing complex, multi-brand systems will be prioritized.

Educational Requirements-

Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (B.Engg) or Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirements-

Minimum 8 years of experience in a large-scale knit composite industry

Additional Requirements-

Age between 30–40 years

Strong leadership and crisis management skills

Ability to manage large teams under pressure
