Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Scrap Buyer. The Scrap Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing scrap materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and managing inventory levels. Additional tasks include identifying new suppliers, maintaining relationships with existing suppliers, and monitoring market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Scrap Sourcing, Purchasing, and Negotiation
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
• Skills in Inventory Management and Supplier Relationship Management
• Ability to monitor market trends and make informed purchasing decisions
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Relevant experience in the recycling or waste management industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
