Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Dhaka. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports. Day-to-day tasks include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to streamline financial processes and support overall business operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools
  • Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
