Job Description / Responsibility

Patient Counseling & Support

  • Provide emotional, psychological, and informational counseling to infertility patients and their families.
  • Explain fertility treatment options, procedures, timelines, risks, and success rates in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Support patients throughout the treatment journey, including pre-treatment, ongoing care, and post-procedure follow-up.

Treatment Coordination

  • Coordinate patient treatment plans between consultants, embryologists, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-ups in consultation with the clinical team.
  • Ensure patients clearly understand treatment protocols and instructions.

Financial & Package Counseling

  • Explain treatment packages, costs, payment schedules, and refund or cancellation policies.
  • Obtain informed consent and ensure proper documentation before initiating treatment.
  • Coordinate with accounts and front desk teams regarding billing and payment processes.

Patient Communication & Follow-up

  • Maintain regular communication with patients via phone, message, or in-person meetings.
  • Follow up on missed appointments, treatment progress, and patient concerns.
  • Handle patient queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and sensitively.

Documentation & Record Management

  • Maintain accurate counseling notes, consent forms, and patient records in HMS/EMR systems.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive patient information.

Psychological & Emotional Care

  • Identify patient stress, anxiety, or emotional distress related to infertility treatment.
  • Provide basic psychological support and refer patients to specialists when required.
  • Promote a supportive, respectful, and patient-centric environment.

Coordination with Marketing & Front Desk

  • Assist in converting inquiries into confirmed consultations and treatment enrollments.
  • Support marketing and outreach teams by explaining services to prospective patients.
  • Ensure a smooth patient experience from first inquiry to treatment completion.

Ethical Practice & Compliance

  • Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Follow medical ethics, counseling standards, and organizational policies.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Prepare daily and monthly counseling, conversion, and patient follow-up reports.
  • Submit regular updates to management regarding patient engagement and outcomes.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Master of Science (MSc)

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic, Chamber, Healthcare Startup
