Sr. Officer / Assistant Manager (Oracle DBA) for Akij INSAF

Job Description

  • To maintain all databases required for development, testing, and production usage. (Oracle Database 12c,19c, MS SQL Server).
  • To design, build, unit test, and maintain custom objects including, but not limited to, interfaces between Oracle Applications and other systems.
  • Implement various database high availability solutions.
  • Implement backup, recovery, performance, re-organizations and ensure security of the database.
  • Provide technical support to application development teams.
  • To design, maintain, and deploy software applications to meet user and business needs.
  • To effectively manage staffing, team motivation & resource development. And Mentor a team of talented engineers and developers.
  • To train up users for new system and software.
  • Providing regular reports to Head of IT.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred degrees are Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE Or Equivalent.
  • Preferred Industry Type are Design/Printing/Publishing, Textile, Group of company, Food (Packaged), Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread).
  • At least 10 years of experience is needed.

Skills & Area of Expertise

  • Database management (SQL)

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Database Administration.
  • Oracle Certified DBA (OCA / OCP) is required.
  • Practical experience with cloud-based databases, such as AWS RDS and/or Azure SQL.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux server administration Assisting in the development of different types of sales-related reports in the ERP system.
  • To ensure technological deliveries to meet business and regulatory objectives and to follow the compliance in alignment with security and legal perspective.
  • Maintain smooth supply of IT products for users and for IT itself by identifying user requirement.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Virtualization or similar technologies is a plus.
