Senior Executive - Fabric Lab & QA

Job Description / Responsibility

Interstoff Apparels Ltd. is one of the largest apparel companies in Bangladesh, which focuses on a large volume of Exports abroad. The Organization began its journey in 2002. which composites through knitting, Dyeing, Sewing, printing, and embroidery. In these circumstances, we are looking for a candidate who is energetic, professionally goal-oriented, and well-mannered.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Fabric and Garment tests as per Buyer Method/ISO/AATCC/ASTM standards;
  • Prepare and review test reports accurately and on time;
  • Manage samples — receiving, tagging, testing, and record keeping;
  • Review test results to ensure they meet buyer requirements and highlight any deviations immediately.
  • Communicate test results and highlight any quality issues to the relevant departments.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and buyer verification. Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure;

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
  • Skills Required: ISO, Good Knowledge about work

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 7 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments,Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Good knowledge of conducting physical, chemical, and performance tests as per buyer standards;
  • Knowledge of lab instruments, equipment handling, and calibration;
  • Standards & Guidelines: Knowledge of ISO, ASTM, AATCC, BS, EN, and Buyer-specific standards (e.g., Tesco, Sainsbury's);
  • Ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and keeping data;
  • Handling audits, both internal and from clients or third parties;
  • Support internal audits, brand audits, and accreditation processes (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025);
  • Take corrective/preventive actions for testing failures or non-conformities;
