WordPress Support Engineer

We are looking for a
few skilled and customer-focused individuals
who are comfortable working either day or evening shifts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic support team providing top-notch assistance to our customers.

We are forming two dedicated support teams to provide customer support 16 hours a day for faster response times:

• Support Team A (Day Shift):
  8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Support Team B (Evening Shift):
  4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Note: Candidates must be comfortable working in their assigned shifts (in hybrid system).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a WordPress Support Engineer, you will be our customers' first point of contact, providing exceptional technical support and guidance. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Handle pre-sales and post-sales inquiries, offering clear guidance and best-practice advice.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to WordPress, WooCommerce plugins, and themes.
• Debug websites and identify plugin conflicts, errors, and performance issues.
• Provide support through HelpScout, live chat, and occasional remote sessions.
• Take ownership, document, and escalate complex issues to the development team.
• Assist customers in customizing and configuring plugins to meet their specific needs.
• Providing insights and feedback to improve our products and customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in providing technical support for WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Strong understanding of WordPress core functionality, eco-system, and popular plugins or page builders.
• Excellent problem-solving and written communication skills.
• Proficient with HTML,
  CSS (Advanced)
  , JS, and PHP.
• Familiarity with debugging tools like browser developer tools, WP-CLI, and error logs.
• Experience with APIs, hooks, and filters in WordPress is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple supports at a time.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with Gutenberg and popular plugins and page builders.
• Familiarity with web hosting environments and server configurations.
• IELTS or TOEFL will add extra value.

SALARY:

• Salary range: up to
  BDT 25-50k
  (Depending on skills and experience).

JOB LOCATION:

• Brahmanbaria (Swiss City, Kawtoli).
• This position does not offer remote work options; it is a Hybrid system job.
