Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Accountant / Admin Officer in Chattogram, Bangladesh. The Restaurant Accountant / Admin Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, the role involves general administrative tasks, customer service, and assisting with daily operations to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant. Duties:


• Maintain daily sales & expense records in Excel.


• Update supplier payment records (ledger sheet).


• Monitor and record inventory usage (linked with the manager).


• Prepare profit/loss summary weekly & monthly.

Workflow (Excel-integrated):


• Morning: Collect the previous day's sales summary from the cashier sheet.


• Midday: Record supplier bills & update Accounts Ledger Excel.


• Evening: Cross-check stock usage with kitchen (Inventory Excel).


• End of Day: Submit financial update to Manager (Excel dashboard).

Qualifications

  • General Administration, Administrative Assistance, and Organization Skills
  • Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial management
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Relevant academic qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
