Oracle Forms Programmer

Job Description / Responsibility

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Forms Programmer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing Oracle Forms-based business applications. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, and database design concepts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design user-centric solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and support ongoing application enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Oracle Forms & Reports.
  • Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform application debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Oracle-based systems.
  • Design and manage database objects such as tables, views, sequences, indexes, and constraints.
  • Participate in application deployment, testing cycles, and documentation preparation.
  • Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and application security.
  • Work with the support team to resolve production issues promptly.
  • Contribute to process and system improvements with technical recommendations.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP API integration with Oracle systems.
  • Exposure to ERP modules or large-scale enterprise applications.
